Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Endobits and related services provided by Bio-Conscious Technologies Inc. By accessing or using the services, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Endobits is a clinical decision-support platform that analyzes continuous glucose data to produce forecasts, risk stratification and related outputs. Endobits is a decision-support system, not a medical device, and is intended to support, not replace, the judgment of qualified healthcare professionals.
2. Not medical advice
The services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and do not create a doctor–patient relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified clinician regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something provided by the services.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the services and are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for safeguarding your credentials.
4. CGM and third-party connections
You may authorize Endobits to receive data from your sensor manufacturer (e.g., Dexcom, Abbott, Senseonics). Your use of those manufacturers' products and accounts is governed by their own terms. You authorize the data connection and may revoke it.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the services.
- Do not use the services unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others.
- Do not attempt to re-identify de-identified data.
6. Intellectual property
The services, including the Endobits platform, models and content, are owned by Bio-Conscious and protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that outputs are error-free or suitable for any particular clinical decision.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bio-Conscious will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on the services.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Bio-Conscious harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the services or violation of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
